Tarren is a calm desktop companion that listens, transcribes, and helps — without a bot in your meeting and without keeping your conversations for itself.
Most meeting tools make you choose between paying attention and keeping a record. So you split your focus: half in the conversation, half writing notes you hope you can read later. The thread you should have followed slips past while you write down the one you already heard. We built Tarren because that tradeoff never made sense.
The usual fix is worse than the problem. A bot joins the call, sits in the participant list, and quietly sends everything to a service somewhere else. People notice. They get guarded. The meeting changes shape. We didn't want to add another stranger to the room, so Tarren doesn't join your call at all. It runs on your own computer — on macOS or Windows — and captures your mic and the other side of the conversation locally. There's no link to paste and no uninvited guest.
During the meeting, Tarren transcribes in real time with speaker labels and acts as a quiet co-pilot. Ask it, by text or voice, what was just said or decided, and it answers from the conversation so far. Afterward it writes the summary, the decisions, the participants, and the action items. It can turn those into calendar events and fill out a PDF or Word document for you — but only when you ask. Tarren never writes to your calendar, email, or CRM on its own.
We're a small team. Tarren is an LLC, part of Better Flow. That keeps us close to the work and honest about what the product does and doesn't do. We'd rather ship something calm and trustworthy than something loud.

Nothing joins your call. Tarren runs on your device and captures your mic and the system audio locally. No participant nobody invited, no link to paste, no awkward moment when people realize a stranger is recording them.
Your conversations stay yours
Your meetings are recorded on your own device and live in your Tarren account, encrypted in transit, at rest, and in the local cache. Sharing is something you turn on — it's revocable, and access is audit-logged.
